How to embed content in pages on sf4answers.
sf4answers now supports a massive (and ever growing) number of embedded content providers (we used to support just YouTube) through the use of Embedly. Currently, we only support the video types supported by Embedly, but that's quite a bit. The current list of supported video providers stands at 57 and includes some providers that have been asked for such as Justin.tv and Ustream.
In order to take advantage of this feature, you simply have to add a link to the content you wish to embed in the editor.
Say you wanted to embed the YouTube video for lordofultima's awesome Itabashi Slayer video. Simply copy the URL of the YouTube page from the browser window:

And then paste the URL into the editor:

When you paste the URL, the editor will automatically make that into a link which the server knows how to process and turn into the embedded content.
Note, the text of the URL and the link itself must match exactly. This is how we know to work the magic on the back end to transform that link into an embeddable resource.
Once you submit the content, we will use Embedly to figure out just how to embed the video in the page, and then center it at the position that you placed the link.
A tremendous amount of gratitude goes out to MrValdez for exposing us to Embedly, without which this feature wouldn't be as great as it is.
