In addition to the buffed boom charge time and introduction of Sonic Hurricane, two of the more major changes Guile received were more invincible frames on the short Flash Kick and the improved juggle properties of the Guile High Kick (df. rh).
Short FK now has the same number of invincibility frames on startup as the EX version, which allows Guile to interrupt shoto c. mk xx fireball without any meter and beat the fireball, rather than trade.
In vanilla the GHK could only juggle into an EX FK, but in Super you can follow up with nearly anything. Depending on the opponent and spacing you can tack on a normal or EX FK, far fp or backfist, sweep, or even another GHK. While the startup and hitbox on the kick still makes it somewhat awkward to land, it can easily be added to the end of a bnb in the corner on many characters, giving Guile a pretty big boost in meterless damage capability.
Another hand change to his command normals is that the sobat kicks now go over low tiger shots.
The major changes to Guile that are of note are:
- Faster charge time on sonic boom
- Faster startup on some normals
- His Ultra 2 (Sonic Hurricane)
A minor change is that Guile can now put on his aviator sunglasses.
the priorities of some of his normals have also been changed which has buffed him and he has amazing recovery on his booms
Guile got a new taunt move, where if you taunt with Down + HK + HP, he puts on/takes off his glasses.
Guile is also packing heat with his new costume.
