Dealing with Rufus' rushdown
I tend to use my knowledge of match ups more than actual skill in the game. That being said I have no idea how to deal with Rufus with any character. Is there any particular character or tactic I could use to help me with the massive pressure he can put on me?
I typically use Cody and T. Hawk.

Standing LP's usually help. Just a little love tap.
It's better to get the tap in even if he hits you, rather than him following up with a typical Rufus combo.
The best thing to do is keep your cool, not matter how much and fast the rush down is coming at you. I main Cody. I would avoid using bad spray at all cost. His dives come in too overhead for it to help, if there is some distance between you and him and he dashes at you I would consider but not likely use it. If he's spamming dive kicks the best defense I've found is just a simple standing jab. Sometimes it trades other times it just resets him out of the sky. In other case you come out on top in a favorable position and you can change the momentum. The spacing usually allows for a nice cross up that you can down fiernce into a RK or CU but that's a matter of taste. If he regains momentum then back to standing jab again. it does wonder. This also works well against able with his stupid little rolls.
