How can I perform Cammy's Instant Cannon Strike?
How do you execute Cammy's instant Cannon Strike that Sanford Kelly is doing in this match against Justin Wong?
Specifically, he does it a number of times at the beginning of the third round of this match:
It can also be seen in the first round around 0:14, where Sanford opens the round with with a dash-canceled focus attack and then performs the instant Cannon Strike.

As others have mentioned, the instant Cannon Strike is performed by inputting a quarter-circle-back motion (QCB), then up + forward and any kick.
The key here is to execute the joystick movement for the Cannon Strike while on the ground and then hit forward and up (the Cannon Strike does not execute unless you are jumping forward).

However, the above can be difficult to execute exactly as shown. You can take advantage of Super Street Fighter 4's lax input buffer (which makes the instant Cannon Strike possible in the first place) to make it easier. If you go into training mode and turn input display on, you can get away with an input like this:

Again, because of the lax input buffer, the game will acknowledge the QCB input as being completed while allowing the insert of the up + forward motion (to satisfy the jump forward requirement) before finally registering kick to complete the move.
The key here is in not riding the gate/pad, which results in a back + up input, making Cammy jump backwards, resulting in input that looks like this:

If you find yourself doing this, then try to make a diagonal motion from back to up + forward as soon as you hit back in the QCB motion. This will typically give you the second set of inputs (QCB -> U, U+F, F) which will work if you get the input in the buffer in time.

you can do the ex version by going down-down/back-back-up/back just spend time in training mode to get used to doing it. the motion has to be smooth and it's not as quick as you'd first think but once you've got it it feels sweet you can even use it to restart your block strings or catch people out that are option selecting block/throw
OK, here is how it REALLY works in CLEAR wording:
Instant Cannon Strike is done by going down, down-back, back, up-forward and THEN pressing the kick button immediately. You have to do it very fast but it's not too hard.
It takes some getting used to, but it's definitely worth it. Have fun!
its the tiger knee cannon strike and it takes practice the movement is up forward down back kick but to do it really fast (THIS IS THE PRACTICE PART) you start off with down/back then up/forward.kick sometimes you see people do a string of them together i myself use the 360 controller so i start with down/back then slide my thumb through the middle of the dpad to the up/forward position and press kick same time
dont get discouraged if you cant do it right away sometimes it comes out as a regular jump back kick or jump forward kick so just go into training a bit you'll get it
