what is plinking?

Plinking, is a way of increasing the chances of you correctly hitting an input at the right time, just like double-tapping. The way it's done is by hitting the button you want, for example MP, then slightly after hitting another button, like LP. The input should look like MP, then LP+MP. By doing this, you get two MP inputs, increasing your chances of hitting it at the right time.
