blankas ultra 1 block

i cant seem to be able to properly block blankas ultra 1. is it a guessing game because the other player can control the timing or is there something  i'm missing.

If Blanka is close to you during his ultra... block low... then high.. then back low.

 

If Blanka is kinda far... then block high then low...  

 

I recomend going to training mode and recording the ultra ... then practice it.

When Blanka activates his Ultra, simply block high until he hits the ground. When he does hit the ground, block low. That's about all there is to it. However, if your talking about him doing an ambiguous ultra that's hard to tell which side of you it'll land on, you just have to guess.

When blanka smacks the floor its a low,

then when he goes into the air its a high,

when he lands block high or low it doesn't matter just get ready to punish.
