Endless Battle Slot Switch for Host

I was wondering how you switch slots with other players as the host in Endless Battle Mode for X Box Live.

For example in the Japanese tournament GODSGARDEN, the GODSGARDEN gamertag is first to play in a 3 player endless battle room, but then some how switches or moves himself to the bottom, allowing the bottom player to now be fighting while the host can watch.

when the ready button is pressed and the opponent doesn't press ready, theres a timer that counts down and if that opponent continues not to press ready, they will go on to the next person in line.
