Pianoing on D-Pad

i've been struggling with the concept of throwing out honda's 1k hand slap into another 1k handslap that fully connects from what i hear the easiest step is to do 1k hands sf.lp 1k hands i have a few friends on xbl who play honda on joystick that tell me you must piano the buttons in order for this to work but when i ask them how to do this on pad im greeted with the scooby doo (lost expression and the sound ROO?) so my questions would be

1. how do you piano on a dpad in general (whats the most effective way)....without the ex always comming out

2. the basics on how honda's, chun's, gen's, and blanka's (hands, legs, electricity) can be turned from stand alone moves to pressure situations

i know im new to it but i see alot of videos where the moves im talking about are done so fluently and fast it seems like it shouldnt be possible WHAT AM I MISSING!

i uploaded another couple videos to my youtube page and i picked out 1 that describes a bit of what im talking about check out the channel any time im always posting www.youtube.com/x617x

you can't really piano on a pad.

You would have to map your x3 buttons to punches and your inputs would look like this on an xbox pad

(X)-(Y)-(Lt)-(Lb)-(Rb)

(X) being the jab that would be your hit confirm into hands

as far as linking hands to hands, the idea is that during your first set of hands you buffer the next inputs for the second set (this is a one frame link) if you want to do the jab link in between the hands it becomes specific in that your opponent has to be crouching unless its cammy she has to be standing, on blanka you can do it on crouch and standing. also you have to be in very deep with the first set of hands to land the jab after them.

if you want to play honda I'd suggest you invest in a stick then learn piano-ing I played pad honda for a while then got a stick and jab xx hands I land 95 percent of the time

Well, I've never actually seen a high level pad player using a character that has these moves besides Shizza, who uses Chun Li. I can't really recall him using any of his lightning legs beyond the EX ones, but Chun doesn't have much use for the other versions. My buddy who's been dabbling with pad Honda, but he hardly hands, and relys heavily on his great normals (neutral j.HP, jumpback HP, st.HK, etc.) for zoning and his ochio grab mixup. I'll look further into some forums to see if I can find anything for you though.
