Broken SE joystick
I replaced my stock joystick and buttons with sanwa parts about 5 days ago. Now my joystick is not responding at all but the buttons work fine. I switched out the sanwa joystick for the stock one and it still doesn't do anything. Any ideas as to what might be wrong or how to fix it.

Might sound stupid but is the switch on the front of stick in the middle as that would cause the stick to look like it didnt work. As this happend to me :)

I'd follow each wire to their connectors and check if anything's loose.
Maybe the cable shoes have little to no contact, or some pins have loosened.
You sure the washer isn't worn, or if it's rubbing on the print?
hate to point out the obvious have you made certain that the stick connector is fully on at both sides?
