They are roughly identical (the IV TE and MvC2 TE), but the default button layouts are tailor-made to each game's default button settings. For this reason, if you play SSFIV more, get a IV TE, and viceversa for MvC2.

I don't have a 360, but I do have the MadCatz Super Street Fighter IV TE S.  It's an alright stick.  My main is a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3-SA.  Though they have the same Sanwa stick and buttons, the Hori just feels better. The button layout is a little different (more of a crescent moon shape) than the MadCatz and is supposedly a better representation of the arcades in Japan.  As ppking123 previously mentioned, it's a matter of preference.  If I had a 360, I would get the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE.

It's a matter of personal preference on the artwork + layout, since the parts are the same (both have Sanwa stick + buttons). I would pick the Street Fighter IV version (due to the close resemblance to the SF4 vewlix arcade cabinet) , and Marvel VS Capcom 3 is known to coming out next year. It comes down to whether you are a big fan of MvC2 and concern about having the artwork of an "old" game.
