What are your thoughts of Madcatz's new S sticks compared to the Round 2?
A fellow customer wanted to know if I would still carry the Round 2 sticks, as he didn't want the new S version.
Can someone tell me which one would you would rather have and why?

Personally, I'm really digging the S sticks. The sleek design gives it a modern look and makes it appear more like a gadget than a toyish box. The way the art now bleeds all the way to the edges is really nice and it looks to still contour to your wrists. It makes my HRAP SE EX look outdated by comparison (seriously, side by side my HRAP looks like the first Xbox painted white).
Your customer probably wanted the R2 more likely due to lower price rather than it being aesthetically better than the S.
Some people don't like the sharp edges on the "S". Other than that...and aside from the lower price, I can't see why anyone would want the R2 over the S. Its the same stick but with better art and locks for start/back button.
If you've got the money to spend, and want a sleeker and more slime stick, I'd go ahead and buy it.
But, if you're like me, a cheap bastard, you'll grab the SE stick from Mad Catz, and modify it with the same Sanwa parts that are in both the TE sticks, as the parts are pop-in and can be found on e-bay for next to nothing.
The SE stick modded with Sanwa parts makes for the exact same quality, only cheaper.
It's got a thicker base than the TE sticks, but it's not as wide.
