Modding an XBox 360 pad to work on PS3
Im an XBox 360 pad user. There are biiweekly tournaments in my city that I've found out about, but they are on PS3. I also plan on going to EVO. I've heard about people having modded XBox 360 pads.
My question is, how would i go about getting a modded XBox 360 pad that can be used on a PS3? Is there somewhere i can just buy one? Is there a place that will allow me to buy what's needed and then they will mod it for me? Or do I have to do it myself? If so, where could i find some tutorials?

A while back Ryan Burke (DMG's well known Fei Long pad player) asked if I could help him get a specific Hori pad modded. It was the Hori Fighting Commander 3, available here; also available in black: http://www.japanvideogames.com/HORI-Fighting-Commander-3-blue-HP3-78-p/ps3-4961818013681.htm
To do this, we needed a SE or TE PCB from xbox360. We contacted SRK's Gummowned for help in modding the pad, plus rearranging the default triggers to match Ryan's preferred configuration. Gummowned got it to work; dual-modding and button switch. One more was made for a student following Ryan.
You might consider this pad for future tournaments. Ryan loves it and now uses it in tournaments. Gummowned has experience in omdding them now, and could help. :) He might also have an extra XBox PCB.
They sell 360 to ps3 adapters on ebay. The cheapest I saw was $11.99 plus $6 for s/h. Just search for "360 ps3 adapter" and you should see it. Good luck.
thanks focus. i remember you showing me this a while back. the only problem is it's d pad. it resembles a ps3's(no diagonals). i prefer the style of the xbox 360's.
i will def hit up Gummowned for some help.
thanks again.
