Rufus BnB Combos. Help with excecution
Guys, Im keen to know which strings can be used following a dive kick, ideally into Galactic Tornado. The last trial is a good example.
Im having a bit of bother getting anything to connect bar pokes after the dive kick. A shallow one seems to help.
Also the string into Heavy GT is what I'm after.
Any help/links etc appreciated :)

Well Dive Kick >> Standing LK >> Standing HP >> GT is his bread and butter combo.
It's really tricky because the dive kick is the main key to make it happen. You should also hit BELOW your opponent's body part, otherwise, you don't have enough frame to combo it into standing LK then HP (which startup is pretty slow - but dive kick + lk give you advantage frame to do it).
If done correctly, the mix up is terrible. Dive kick >> throw or Dive kick >> standing LK then throw are also his main B'nB (because of what I've explained before : frame advantage, which mean your opponent has to guess... QUICKLY).
The P-link goes like this :
GT
MP + HP
HP
LK
Just press LK then HP-MP very quickly. Vesperarcade tutorial on the subject is very nice on youtube.
I learned it fairly easily. Just practice first standing LK to standing HP.
Then dive kick >> standing LK
then link both (you'll leanr to differenciate the spacing + combo rythm better, and memorize it more efficiently than trying all together without fractionnating it).

Well i'm not exactly an expert on Rufus but ill try to help.
as for what strings you can use after the dive kick, you can try cl.hp > GT or maybe cr.mk > GT, but thats all i know of. You best bet is to try and master the cl.lk > cl.hp link though. It's a 1 frame link but plinking it helps and after practice you should be able to get it down.
For getting things to link after a dive kick, the shallower the dive kick, the better. Also if you hit your opponent far, like, in his toes, you will land with plenty of time to combo something afterwards.
