Follow ups after landing Ryu's F + HP

Apart from the obvious srk, what else is viable? Can you plink cr.mp? or jabs into sweep? or cr.hp -> tatsu?

Ryu's F + HP is +4 on hit, and as you've mentioned, the typical followup is an SRK.

 

That said, with a +4 frame advantage on hit, you have the other following options:

 

  • Close LP
  • Close MP
  • Far LP (if you are able to time it from a distance, and it's a one-frame link)
  • cr. LP
  • cr. MP (one-frame link)
  • cr. HP (one-frame link)
  • cr. LK (one-frame link)
  • Super Combo
