What are Cody's options against spammed Shoryukens?
Being online there are alot of LP and MP SRK spams and I have no way of getting out of them with Cody as he has nothing to trade well and get pressure off.
What are my options here?
Update of what I found:
One option I found in tranning mode is Crack Kick(Foward+HK) but it's not a clean trade in that if not timed correctly you'll be beat more then half the time. This is very effective when you block a LP or MP Shoryuken in that it gives nearly half screen of space(from the push back and knock down of the attack)
And for some reason some one changed my title to include whiffed let me give you an explaination of the situation I'm in when this happens:
I'm a corner cause of a lucky throw or tatsu to shoryuken block string, I usually have no meter and no ultra and even if i do have meter if they ex or worse a HP SRK on the next move it cancels mine. and from that point on they just SRK spam until I have enough meter for ultra or die

my advice would be just block if they are spamming pressure with srk's then learn a standard punish like the ideas albert cacdac said dont hit buttons if they're going to be mashing stuff out just bloke and punish!
its better to take chip than to take counter hit damage
usually i just rock throw and keep well away from them but when cody is pressured i would say crouch attacks all the way me personally c.lpx2-3 (2 or 3 times) c.lk mk ruffian does the trick its not as strong but is alot faster then c.lp3 c.mp criminal upper. also c.hp hk ruffian is LIGHTNING FAST and you can fadc into ultra 1 or another HK ruffian or even c.HP HK ruffian into super
Something practical and good damage is cr. mp xx f. CU or cr. hp xx f.CU, if you wanna push them in the corner, cr. mp xx m. ruffian
Just to add for whiffed srk I like to punish with [s.mp, c.mp x x fierce criminal]. It's quick and easy to execute. While being pressured in a corner I usuallly [c.lk xx forward ruffian] Again its quick and gives you a lot of space.
